Biography:
Lion-O is the central protagonist of the Thundercats franchise, first appearing in the 1985 animated TV show, Thundercats. He is the Lord of the Thundercats, a race of humanoid feline aliens from the planet Thundera.
He starts as a young boy whose aging process is artificially accelerated during the Thundercats' escape from their dying planet. This makes him physically an adult but with the maturity and experience of a child, a source of internal conflict and character development.
